Double Eagles Diameter 34.4mm?

    I found a nice Saint and Liberty at my LCS, both are 34.4mm diameter according to my Starrett calipers.

    Weight checks good at 33.4 and 33.3.

    Is this typical variation for the diameter?

    Oh, the Starretts are genuine, I've had them for 40 years!!

    I'm with ya . . . I don't let mine outta my sight . . . sorta like my HP35S.

    They don't make the good stuff any more.

    The star right in front of the "L" in Liberty looks a little unusual.
