2 -1964 Kennedy Halves - Attributed Planchet Cracks

Hello everyone,
I wanted to share two attributed Mint Errors from my collection. 90% Planchets with Cracks on the edge.

Cracked Planchet #2 - Details Grade



These are throwbacks. I have shown them on CoinTalk many years ago. But I wanted some of the new members to see some real mint errors

Real nice Ed! Saw this on the internet somewhere. Is this really worth hundreds of dollars?

Looks like a retained CUD (obv) and possibly a bi level die crack(rev).

I would have one in my collection.
I wouldn't pay for it though.
Seriously have you seen what they are asking for errors lately.
The article is full of errors and misspellings. No, I scanned it, really didn't read it.

Don't these two ½ dollar coins qualify as Incomplete Planchets?

 

Crazy stuff. On the 2nd coin, what evidence do you see that the coin was improperly cleaned? I can't tell anything from the photo.
