    Hi Everyone. New member here.
I've had this coin for probably 40 years and recently dug it back out. I'm curious to hear your opinions on what grading it could possibly be rated.
Pics taken in different lighting to see the differences.

    Thanks

Nice coin. I am far from a grading expert but if I had to guess I would say VF 35.

I couldn't see the cleaning marks until I took close up pics. I've personally never cleaned it, but it does appear that someone did before I inherited it.
It looks amazing just holding it.

The majority of classic American coinage has been cleaned at some point.

Is it just me, or does the wear on the obverse seem much more severe than the wear on the reverse.

NGC puts it at $135 (that would be with their grading)

The fine horizontal scratches going across would indicate it has been cleaned in the past. If you send it in it would most likely get a "VF Details Whizzed" which, other than authenticating it would not help the value at all. In fact many places won't even buy a details graded coin because they don't sell unless it's a very rare piece. It has value but not the same value of a straight graded coin in equivalent grade. Its more common than not for CBHs to have been messed with in some way so not a surprise.
