Wondering if this is anything special. Repunching shows on the 74 in date.
PCGS AU-50. Any thoughts on value? Breen called it rare but we know that was not always true.

2024 Red Book Value $325. Along with the repunch, the sealed PCGS AU-50 should bring it up, but how far would be up to who is looking at it or a TPG. Nice coin, good luck.

Larry, I make this this the F-103, Obverse 3 and Reverse C. There is a later die state of this die marriage, the F-103a with the C.2 reverse with a die crack in the wreath at the lower left. But I can't see this crack on your coin.

    Fortin calls the 103 a R-3 and the 103a a R-4.

Maybe a slight premium if only to re-punched date enthusiasts.

From what I can research it is a top 100 RPD.
F-103. PCGS has graded only 4, and one of them is yours.

I always take those numbers with a big grain of salt. Just because PCGS has only listed four with an attribution, doesn't mean that they haven't graded many more of that die marriage but without an attribution.

    True hadn't thought of that.

This could be quite valuable! It may be pretty rare if a top company has graded just 4, so you should try to research it as much as possible. :)

Thanks all for the great information.
I was second guessing myself. It's in an OGH and I chose to not crack it out just to have the variety show on the holder. The fees look to be about as much as any extra value the variety might bring. I sent the coin to CAC just for fun.
