I love this show, I admit I'm a little biased (I help put the show on) but honestly I have a great time at this show.

This year we had to squeeze into the ballroom due to the venue being double booked. Sadly this resulted in a lot of disappointed dealers that could not get a table, we simply could not accommodate every dealer in the smaller room.

I'm estimating over 1000 people visited the show over the 2 days, I'll publish the totals as soon as Mike Dixon gets finished counting the sign up sheets. Everyone I spoke to was impressed and or very pleased with the turnout.

Here are some photos from the show.

As always this show was a class act! Mike & Alan always put on a good show. The early Fall Gettysburg show is always one I look forward to attending .
I was extremely happy being able to share with Dave and Brandon the show this year. I had been telling them about the show for months. Dave it was a pleasure to have someone to drive up with ,passing the short drive even quicker.
It was nice to meet Kurt and see Jerry, and Doug.
Jerry and Doug we have run into each other at several shows. It's nice sharing our finds and talking coins.
As a one time land owner in the Fairfield/Gettysburg area this area has a lot to offer. There's something for everyone up in Adams County Pa.
If you should plan to attend this show next year bring the wife and family . The Apple Harvest festival , the town of Gettysburg , the battlefield , Ski Liberty , just to name a few things to check out.
As I walked the floor yesterday and Friday speaking to the dealers and collectors I knew everyone was having a good show.
I really enjoyed seeing some of my dealer friends as well as seeing some new inventory from other states.
In closing if you are within a reasonable driving area you should definitely put this show on your radar. And again make it a family trip ,stay over a night or two and enjoy everything this area has to offer.

Thank you, but that was hurried, quick and dirty and not even diffused so I could get it up on CT before I had to get in the shower for work. :) Frankly, I think the obverse (I'm calling the bust the obverse, in the Great Britain style) sucks. It's not diffused or even elevated above the background. Done with a little more care for presentation, it's (in my opinion) better like this:

And there's still room for improvement. I think I could bring out more detail in the lower right quadrant while retaining the darker, rougher "period" look I like for this one.

This is a once a year show only? Or they run it multiple times?

@coinzip, thanks for putting on a great show.

I know it was last minute with the room switch and all, but just a heads-up for next time that happens, you could have used a few more signs directing people to the correct room... at least for "directionally-challenged" people like me ;-)

And signs where to park would have been nice, but hotel staff kept telling me that it didn't matter where I parked, it would be a long walk to the venue anyway...?

Here is another point of view from a highly respected dealer, The Reeded Edge.
