That's nice, almost all the wheats I have pulled look like garbage.

Thanks! Yeah I've probably found 150-200 wheats CRHing this year, that's just the 2nd one I've found with full luster. I saw the heads side first, took me a second to realize 58 was the last wheat rev yr. Seems like they're getting harder to find every day. I suppose that's because of people like us :)

I have a box of cents that I have had sitting there for 3 months. Saving it for a bad weather day because it takes me forever to go through one.

Lately I've been getting them 5 bucks at a time with nickels and/or dimes. You could always go thru it little by little. Here I normally find 12-20 wheats per box worth, I've heard from this forum that elsewhere they've dried up to about half that, which is unfortunate. I'd imagine since you're in CO you must predominantly find Ds. But hey, you never know, you could have an 09s vdb sitting in your stash :woot:

Yes... go back and get as many of those things as you can! Those two nickels in my avatar are because I went back and got more after finding 99 pre-60s in 26 rolls out of a new LOOMIS box... went back and got the remainder of that LOOMIS box from the teller first thing the next morning and another full LOOMIS box from that same batch and wound up with 207 pre-60s total including 3 Buffalos, a 38-D, a 38-S, an AU 39-D, a 42-D, and 2 49-Ss.

Dudes! Total score. On my way to my coin show I got lost. I drove by a random credit union and thought I would give it a try. Asked teller for halves and he said he didn't have any. He asked the other tellers. They said no. As I was leaving he said wait, I have half a roll. I said I'd take them. Then he said actually I have another full roll. I smiled as he took them out because they had writing on them. He said they had been sitting in his drawer for a year and a half. So all silver! $15.00 in halves 30 40%ers! Best score of my life. Going to go into my coin show. Will post pictures when I get home.

I forgot to ask for rolls in the vault! Don't know if I should go back today or wait til Monday. They may ask if I am a member.

Went to another credit union. $7.00 in loose halves 1 40%er. Also I asked if they had any in the vault. Teller came back with 7 CWR. She said an old lady wrapped them herself and brought them in. Haven't opened them yet. Went to my whilst bank and got a box of halves. Hopefully I will have some more results. And pictures.

I still have a bank box of Halves to go. Hopefully my luck will change on those. Still, by best day ever.

Nothing in the Box of Halves. It's ok, I'll keep hacking away on that. I have some areas in town I haven't explored yet for teller tray halves and CWR. Next Saturday I will do so. I've got a trip to Philedelphia this coming week. it's pretty brief but I'll get a little hunting in.

    $25 BWR Cents - Skunk

    $25 BWR Cents - 8 wheats, 6 Canadian, and 494 coppers

    $58 CWR Nickels - 8 pre-1960

    $50 CWR Dimes - Skunk

The coinstar at my credit union spit out a 1964 quarter just before giving me the dreaded "machine full" screen so the day wasn't a total loss... unfortunately now I have two week's worth of coins to dump.

Out of those three rolls, I had, there were 38 Buffalo nickels. I did not go back to the bank. Maybe 1 is VG the rest are G. I am probably going to give some of them to my friend's son. I got him into collecting and he is really enthused about it. Better to keep him interested.

Go back and get more! That is by far the best score you could possibly get. Where those mwr or cwr? Either way 38 in 3 rolls is alot!
