I wasn't looking for one, caught this one sitting on the dealers desk. I saw it before but hadn't seen the badge on the reverse. Looks like 1904 to me.

That's just not right.
With that said, it looks like 1964 not 1904.

 

Still missing the first three letters before NOV.
I can see 1964.

 

I believe it is PAT

I found 3 similar examples on line.


This is a Kennedy Half from my collection.

 

Those are so cool. I need to find one.

 

This was posted by @ldhair in 2019. So the badge Patent bar does say 1904. I took a look again it does. The Barber weighs spot on at 12.5.

 

Would not waste my money. I do not care for them, sorry.

 

I have one with the 1904 patent date and the coin is dated 1907. It has a pin back. Here is a picture of the obverse.

 

So, can you find a MM. Hopefully it isn't an S.
The area on mine has solder on it.

I cannot determine if there is/was a mm there. That area is smoothed out.

 

I miss @saltysam-1 He has not posted in many years. I called him an expert on these. I learned a lot from him.
