Looking to visit the Chicago area this year for a vacation, should it be during the Central States show or the ANA Worlds Fair of Money? Which show is the "better" one to attend?

I went to the Worlds Fair of Money in Denver in 2018. It was a huge show, my son and I had a great time.

Frank, are you coming to the ANA this year? I'd love to have dinner with you

My understanding is that Central States has gone downhill the last 5-7 years though they had a good show last year attendance-wise.

Is it still worth going to?

Should be some Central States threads here or on other forums. Would also depend on how far you are travelling to get there.

Only show I have travelled far for has been FUN...rest are 1-2 hour drives.

Not true. CSNS has been gaining steam over the past few years. Long Beach, on the other hand is dying fast.

That said, the ANA show is the one to go to if you have to choose between it and CSNS. The weather is also nicer in August than at the end of April.
