    Hello everyone,
    Welcome to my 2024 edition all about my free money/jewelry finds in the streets, meters and Coin counters in NYC :woot:

    FOG - Found On Ground
    FIM - Found In Meter (return slot)
    FIC - Found In Coinstar (reject bin)

    On January 18th, I posted a thread on my first FIC - Found in Coinstar finds..

    Today I hit the Jackpot with a Parking Meter return slot find.. 18 Quarters :greedy: $4.50

    I don't think we have coin meters around me anymore. I used to check once and a while but they all seem to be electronic now. I do check vending machines from time to time.

    They are sitting in the slot. As I'm walking to work or walking to the train to head back home I check all the meters on the way. If I do find coins I hold the return button to see what happens. I never get extra coins.
