I am banking on the pics. I can see a 58 if the toning doesn't have any brilliance.

I find a lot of the difference between 53 and 58 isn't actually wear its more how much unbroken luster and how bright the luster is

    Precisely! :)

I have a suspicion that this one will cause some strong reactions, so I really want to share a brief video of the coin; however, FedEx decided to walk this coin on foot from California (or so their pace would suggest.)

Well, the coin was minted in 1916, so maybe they wanted to send it the way mail use to be. "Snail mail". lol.gif
If it's a video. Is it silent?? LOL.

I'll make sure to circle back and share a video of the coin in hand to show off just how lustrous it is, despite the darker toning.

(FedEx now eta Tuesday despite the package being one suburb away. Oh well, no biggie.)

Not the best video, but hopefully demonstrates some of that luster missing from the Trueview image

Edit: also, putting this one side by side with my blast white MS62, it's pretty clear that the MS65+ doesn't have any noticeable contact marks -- especially on the neck/cheek area compared to the MS62.
