I do know at least two former ANA Presidents were out there.

It was my first time going to a show like that to flip something. It was interesting, to say the least. My Dad and I went, and barely made it in the top 500 the first day. We got down to the line (I thought we were plenty early, I guess not!) then my Dad remembered he left his credentials in the car, really far away. We had to run and get them, while we were getting further and further back in line, haha.

I plan on getting two sets. Will order one after the bull rush the day they are released and hope to get one from the local Mint store if the are allocated any. Would have loved to have had a silver medal included in the set.

I ordered my set today. Got in & out pretty quickly. Doesn't seem like there were a lot of people ordering at 9am!!

I decided not to order these. I have gotten most of the previous ones, but only am interested in the RP dollar coin, and with the higher mintage I think this will be one I can pick up in a few months in my desired grade for a nice discount over sticker price at the Mint...

Just successfully ordered about 1 hr. 20 min. after sales began. Sounds like they got the quantity about right this time. Anything that keeps the flippers at bay HAS TO BE right, by definition.

Did all the Coin and Chronicles Sets have the Presidential $1 Reverse Proof Coin With the “S” Mint mark? Didn't the others have the "P" ?

I will agree with you on this only this one time Kurt as I want to roll up the ase burnished with the Reagan whenever that's coming out. Plus all my extra $ is going to Dan Carr 1964-d morgans right now while I can still get them at issue price :)

You are fortunate to have those memories.

Not sure about the mints on the earlier RP's. Not sure I care, either, as long as there's only one each. They do like to spread this kind of stuff around. See the Enhanced Uncirculated Sacs.

Geez, Cascade. How many did you get? Hehe. :greedy: (this is Darth, by the way).

Darth!? Why are you going Ikecognito :p

Only 5 so far, all high grade. My business requires that I have a good supply of cash on hand so I'm probably done until the DMPL's come out but maybe not :)

In and out in thirty seconds (12PM, NY time)........not much interest in this one but it was surely nice not having to bite my nails over if I was gonna get something or not.

Yeah I got my order in quickly this time. But if you didn't have much interest why buy one? Just send it to me instead [emoji13]

I meant 'public interest'. I was interested, and I bought two. :)

Both Teddy and Franklin D lacked a reverse proof presidential dollar. The reverse proof was initiated with the Truman set.

I see that you've been around for a spell (2010) but this is your first post. Welcome to the forum, mix, and Frey.........:)

I figured I would create an alter ego for CoinTalk. :blackalien: Man, I can't wait for the DMPLs. Do you think they'll be available before the new year?

I'm thinking about getting this C&C set, but I just can't seem to make up my mind. I hate when I get indecisive.

Dan has hinted that towards the end of the 64-d production run he might strike some in DMPL finish. Weather that will be in weeks or months I have no clue. At this point it's just him publicly saying he might do it

That said, if he does do them, and before Christmas, and you get me for Secret Santa, I know what I want :shame:

Whether or weather......can you 'ride it out? Given the current opinion/condition?

I like his stuff. :) And he's an admirable and most likable fellow. The slings and barbs are distracting.......
