Good luck! You're most certainly due, are you doing different denominations as well or just sticking with halves?

Focus is on Halves. If I hit a bank that has CWR I'll ask for dimes and maybe quarters.

Went to 16 banks today on my way to Texas:

    3 40%ers

Not picture worthy but it's a start. Went through $200.00 worth of Halves, a mix of teller tray and BWR.

Found a 1955 nickel, nothing crazy but it's a nice hole filler. Lowest mintage nickel I've found to date. Crazy thing is that it was an ender, I figured thered be a little D on the back per the usual... Now I'm just waiting to get my 38-61 Nickel folder in the mail

Back to skunky boxes. 7 Loomis bids so far this week. Nada!

I have five from Loomis and two from Brinks yet to pick up this week.

There are 14 Wells Fargos in Lubbock. I am trying to decide if I should just focus on them or the small banks. Lubbock is a big city.

A suggestion - Try stopping by at Tulia, which is off I-27 between Amarillo and Lubbock. It has 3 banks including a Wells Fargo and has some favorable characteristics to finding something. You could call the banks ahead of time to see if they have anything.

Good luck and please post what you find.

Nice find! Those just don't show up for me at all. In almost 7 months of CRH I have found all of 1. And in my lifetime, 2...

Believe it or not, this was an ender in a CWR. I was pretty surprised when I flipped it over and saw those three little letters with the dots between them on the bottom... 09vdb.jpg

Thanks for the intelligence report. I will definitely stop by. My tactics is to ask my smart phone to find banks in the area and a list with Addresses pops up. Good to know of an ideal place like the one you described.
