I am going 66+ It has that high end look. I just don't think that they want to give a 2 pop to the 67 grade.

 

You never know. I’ve made a few top pops recently. Anything is possible in the grading game.

My goal was to get it into a RB holder at a 67. I was vindicated on my 67, color designation, I’m at a loss.

They screwed them up too. Ever since Phil left all my TV’s have been garbage. I’m embarrassed for them to even post it.

 

Are they purposely trying to hide the toning?

 

I can see it at 67 RD.

 

About the only way for it to go RB now is to crack it out and have it graded again. On a Regrade it won’t be downgraded……and in their eyes an RB and BN would be downgrades. Even a Reconsideration would be a waste of money since they are even more conservative with changing the grade and/or designation up or down.

I would wait a couple of months to make sure a different group of graders are in house.

 

I’ll probably end up leaving it the way it is and have you photograph it for me. No need to tie more $$ into grading on a super common date cent.

 

Actually I am seeing why they are calling it a red. I wouldn't be worried about the designation. It will go RB one day, and keep the grade.

 

Too bad it isn't in a Soap box.
