1890 s Morgan Dollar filled mint mark?

    The whole coin looks..... off to me... mainly the surfsce... Anybody else on that thought?

    The coin looks okay to me. The mintmark just looks like it has seen circulation wear like the rest of the coin. If you want to get an idea of value, check completed listings on eBay for coins of similar condition.

    Is there such a thing as a misprinted mint mark on a Morgan dollar? As in this coin should have been minted CC? Going from the looks off this coin on eBay.

    Why would you think that it should have the "CC" Mint Mark?

    Personally I would only pay $25 tops but that is only because I like the look of it which is unusual for me. I normally like them with high luster, clean with no toning but that one appeals to me.

    Your coin is an 1890-S without question. That is what you should be looking for on eBay.

    Yes, there can be re-punched mintmarks (RPM) and over mintmarks (OMM) but that is not the case for your coin.
