You're never amazed at your own level of stupid? I am at my own quite often and find it rather amusing at times. Perhaps it comes with age..

Ha, funny. Actually, I think you are one of the wisest posters here. Even a wise guy, sometimes. Ha, ha!

 

Wisdom is frequently the result of being stupid a lot of times.

 

Now that I think of it, maybe all of us are, not necessarily stupid, but prone to mistakes in life. After all, just look at all the mistakes people make when getting into relationships, voting, choosing where to live etc.

Isn't there a saying that says "You're only stupid if you don't recognize that you are."? I am well aware of my intelligence level.

 

If you want to apply those three standards to me, I am, at a minimum, purty dumb.

It sure does. Yesterday for example I bought some apples at a farm store, then parked the car at some parking lot in a suburb, and started a nice long walk along the river. Long as in loooong. Finally I got back home, and was asked about those apples.

And then it dawned on me. At about 9 pm I took the subway to a stop near the car park, and then drove back home. In my car ...
