*****Gettysburg is next weekend***** Who's going? Eisenhower Hotel and Convention Center 2634 Emmitsburg road Gettysburg Pa. This is to me one of the better fall shows! I plan being there both days it's a short drive from Baltimore , Annapolis and D.C. areas. Hope to see you at the show...

No had no idea, but if you ever get a chance you need to walk the battle fields . At one time years ago I owned some land up in the area. It was always a good time going up to Gettysburg . If anyone is looking for a really cool fall get away the first two weekends in October is the apple harvest festival great fun! And of course anything APPLE!
Hmm. I'm tentatively planning to head up next weekend to visit Dad, who's laid up in Frederick. Only 45 minutes up 15...

"Probably wearing purple" Good call being picked up in South Baltimore .....down the street from the Ravens house.....you'll Just blend in with all the Hon's ! BTW it would be advisable to brush up on some South Baltimorese
I am a lifelong Browns fan, and have a sort of place in my heart for the Ravens. It helps that they're a class organization. This year's spring Baltimore show was the first time I'd been in town since the casino opened; the difference in the neighborhood was drastic and welcome after what it was for all my past trips. Used to be from the moment I walked out the door to Greyhound I was in Col. Cooper's Condition Yellow until I walked into the Convention Center.
Ya know I'm a South Baltimore Brat.....was born a few blocks over from the now Horseshoe Casino . Baptist at St. Jerome ' s church..... this is my turf...... and proud of it.
The funny part is, that area's a simple blue-collar neighborhood compared to where I live right now. Probably all it ever was, but I wander a lot of different cities on foot and tend to be cautious by nature.
Due to a sudden death in my family I may not be attending the show this coming weekend . I will up date my status later today after the arrangements are made.
Well made arrangements today and since the funeral home as well as the church were booked solid we had to put off the funeral until next Monday. So that frees me up on Saturday . One heck of a day!
