After yesterdays box I believe with persistence it could be done. At least the clad coins could be found in uncirculated condition because I found most of the '70 P&D's - '90 P&D's in that box. Silver proofs and silver halves in general may be harder to find just because of their intrinsic value.

Picked up another 8 rolls of cents, nickels and quarters (each) this week and had another good find...1910 liberty nickel.

I feel like I'm really on a roll (pun intended). I only search 8 rolls a week which isn't a lot but in the past month or so I've found:

    1938-s BU nickel
    1916 buffalo nickel
    1910 liberty nickel
    1961-D quarter
    1909 lincoln cent (VF condition)

I got back into CRH about a year ago. I usually do the 8 rolls per week thing and sometimes I've gone weeks without finding anything interesting but the past couple of months have been really good for some reason. I hope it continues!!

1st of three boxes of nickels today:

    2 1939
    7 asst 40s dates
4 - count 'em 4! 1943-P war babies. Most war nickels in a box since a few years ago I found 14 of the little darlings.

Boxes 2 and 3 were not disappointing either

    Box 2
    2 1938-9
    3 40's S mints
    3 War nickels, 43-P, 45-P and 45-S

    Box 3
    2 1939
    1 50s S
    12 40s
    2 War nickels - 42-P and 42-S

Out of three boxes 9 war nickels today. Love any war nickels I can find, 1 is always nice, but multiples make it that much better.

Now on to three boxes of cents.

Nice finds! That's 1/2 oz of silver right there! I always like finding the '42 Silver coins as they're tougher to find for me than the other years. Good luck with the cents/pennies...

The dimes were the star attraction for me today... both of these were in MWRs!

My vault teller didn't order my halves this week since she was out sick. Bummer.
But, I did stop at another branch and get a box of nickels to keep me busy, and the teller had $12 in loose halves. Which produced:
    4x 90%, 2x 40%.
Better than my last two boxes of halves.

Two interesting finds in my latest roll search. I did about $160 in random rolls and here's what I found:
*the was only ONE roll of half-dollars. It turned out to be extremely clean all-uncirculated '79 & 80 Kennedy's. Various mint marks. Evidently, someone needed to turn a roll in for cash.

*number 2 was this oddly plated coin. I say plated because there is NO clad edge. Who has seen this style and can explain what it is. The normal coin on the left and the 'suspect' on the right. Thank you.

    Also, six-pre 50 nickels. A good search all-in-all :)

Thanks. It's rare that I get lucky like that. She also had $53 in Ikes but those were nothing special.

Went to the bank today to deposit work checks... Teller had an Ike. Exciting, except I'm sitting on upwards of 150 of them

I found a quarter just like yours around three weeks ago. I did research on my coin and all evidence point's to a platinum plated quarter.
