    Hello, everyone, and welcome to the latest giveaway. This will be another one of my "pick your prize" contests, so you can hopefully win something you'll like.

    To enter:

    Select a prize of your choice from my Giveaway Gallery, and post an entry post stating your prize preference. As I periodically add new items to the Giveaway Gallery, you may always change your mind later if you win the drawing. I just like to hear people's selections up front, since it gives me an idea of what's popular.

    The drawing will be done via random number generator sometime on or after the date mentioned at the top of this post. The timing will depend on my schedule. You may consider the contest open for entries until such time as I have posted the final result of the random drawing.

    Totally free: the contest is free of charge, open to everyone, with free worldwide shipping (though on rare occasions I might have to ask overseas contestants to choose something different if their selection would be too expensive to ship). The only requirement is that if you win...

    Please post a receipt in this thread after you get the prize, so we'll know you got it (that helps me keep track).

    I'm in for the Civil War token again, despite not really collecting US stuff anymore, that one is just too cool. The coin for this post will be one I bought off a member here, a US Frigate Constellation token struck from parts of the ship removed during some sort of maintenance as I understand it. Just the materials alone is out of this world! I don't have the coin yet, but soon I shall. I don't have pictures because I don't know how to pull it off eBay, so I guess I'll have to update with photos later, though I am quite good at promising to do so and then proceeding to not. Thanks LordM for the contest!

    I haven’t removed it from the gallery just yet, but somebody over on Collectors Universe won that one. Still, I haven’t heard back from him, and he’s a one-post wonder, so it is presently uncertain whether he’ll show back up to claim it.

    1,578,000,000 was the world population in 1900
    8,118,840,000     is the world population in 2024.

    I was surprised to find that Peru has a lot of Bats, the night time flying, hang up-side-down in the day kind.
    Someplace I found there are 159 species including the famous "Vampire Bat" in Peru. Lots of rabies going around.
    I'd like to take another chance at the Peruvian Dinero please.
    I'll keep trying to win it since I am definitely not going to Peru to get one.
    I don't like bats, even if they are tiny ones and do eat mosquitos.
