I sent 5 coins in the results are in, but not shipped yet.
One of them was 2000 Sac that graded MS68, I'll post a photo when it comes in.

Thanks it sure is a beauty, I think if it didn't have that mark above E Pluribus it may have got a 70

    Nice results!

I just had an order of 14 coins arrive at ANACS after nearly a week of being stuck somewhere between Colorado and Portland. I have a set of the Daniel Carr Mercury Dime, Standing Liberty Quarter and Walking Liberty Half Dollar tokens in for grading.

haha the Standing and Walking Liberties threw me for a loop until I looked at the dates. I had never heard of any of the original ones grading so high ;)

I did not know those 1915 dated SLQ and walker existed. Can you inform me on when they were actually made?

They're Dan Carr restrikes. He makes them for years that didn't exist so people wouldn't confuse them with super high grade real ones. I enjoy them.

They're modern restrikes, so MS69 is basically the same as getting a PF69 on an ASE.

I'm wondering, why didn't you submit the 41-s/horiz s to PCGS instead?

I checked they list the RPM-1 but I could not find the RPM-2 listed. So I figure they wouldn't slab it.
If you know of the PCGS number for this please advise. Thanks

ANACS has graded these as low as MS64, maybe they were the bulk handled items.

I would be shocked if they weren't, the bulks are supposed to be about ms 65 so that sounds right. Not sure if ANACS makes any note of that on the label or not though

Y'know, I've often wondered, when Carr does these restrikes, is the pressure on the press set to a higher level so that any previously present bag marks or scratches get eliminated with new metal flow?
