Any double IDs for same ip is investigated, usually members of same residence, otherwise they are spam and appropriate action occurs. We take great effort to see that all members are treated correctly. I do not recall having any difficulty with any post from a self-identified female member. And they certainly are not as snarky. Welcome ladies!

Yes I do all day long. I give them my best explanations which is Environmental Damage, PMD or Circulation wear. I try my best to explain why this is the case but they refuse to accept the explanation.. So then I just move on and ignore them.

Except for this brief comment, I'm going to beg off further comment on this. I got a whole lotta people's backs up this past weekend for positing this very same theory. Granted, I got all up in one "lady's" grille a bit more than was wise, but still...

It's almost like some psych prof assigned a project to get into an overwhelmingly male subject area to test reactions. Jus' sayin'. I don't like being a guinea pig for somebody's amusement.

I think what he's saying is that an inquiry from an account that appears to be a female, (and a picture that is attractive amplifies the results) will get TONS more responses than one asked by a seemingly plain account.

I've noticed. It's really funny when people absolutely refuse to accept an expert opinion. Then the question arises: why ask if you don't accept the answer?
It's like going to antiques roadshow and the appraiser says "it's worth 1 thousand" and the customer says "no, no, no, you don't know anything, I know it's worth 5 thousand" - why come in the first place?

Well apparently you haven't looked recently, or even on the same day as the posts to which you refer were made. Here are links to two of those posts -

Don't be coy, Doug. Coy isn't a good look for you. Just say what's on your mind. I would, but you already know how I feel about this recent trend, and my diplomacy skills frankly stink online. I think we're being scammed by some Psychology or "Womens Studies" professor with an axe to grind.

I'm not so sure I would jump to the social experiment. I'm more inclined to suspect that an individual is up to something because they're embarresed or ashamed or hopeful they'll get a better answer with a name like Pretty23 or whatever.

Yes. One post by sheryl anne dohn and next the same exact thread created using the previous post by pretty23

Again I gave my best answer. Even joked a bit which she found no offense and it took a few more members to convince her of what she had.. I think

I'm not being coy Kurt I'm trying to test your powers of observation. If you look at those posts found at those links you will see a line through the names of the person who made the post. When you see a line through the member's name like that - it means that member has been banned from the forum.

Both of those members were banned from the forum within 24 hrs of joining it.

Maybe it's my browser, but I don't see a line through anything anywhere.

Also.. I am not here to cause anyone problems. I just want to help. I don't consider myself an "expert" but know well enough what I'm looking at to give my attribution and opinion. If a member new or old won't accept then hey.. It is what it is

Well then that explains it. In other words, apparently members don't see what I see, I had assumed they did. This is what I see -

In the very first post of this thread the idea was expressed that maybe the mods should keep track of things. My posts in this thread have been attempt to show you, all of you - that we do.

Yup, Doug, I see the strikethrough in your screen grabs, but it doesn't show when I access those threads. You have NO idea how often I'd like to do purposeful strikethroughs in my posts.

I don't see the strikethrough either.
