1980 d cuds on columns

check this out 1980 d penny its red brown. there are cuds on the columns. any help is appreciated.

The Die Chips on your cent are considered a minor error. They are not Cuds.
It is a fairly common area to find Die Chips on a LMC. They really do not bring a premium to the coin.

You have a minor mint error known as die chips.

 

They can when they are die markers.

 

As mentioned, those are Die Chips.
