I'm sorry about taking so long. I also realised I made a mistake in my post. It is a 1925s not a 1926s. My bad.

That's a nice stack you got there Teuble. Do you put all of your silver finds in one area as in all together?

Incredible for just one week. Congrats Truble. Normally I'd be jealous but after reading your post about the system you have down I have a lot of respect. Great hustle!

Ok. The reason why I asked is because I wondered if you had your finds together so you could take a pick of your finds this year. If you can't do that can you please post a spreadsheet. I'm sorry about bothering you on this I'm just curious what the possibilities are that are still out there.

Gothcha, no I don't have them separated but I do have a running count. I started searching again In April, I had stopped for about six months, I was on a restructure team at work and absorbed a lot of time. Started back in April with just teller tray and CRW with two boxes halves from Loomis per week. At first all my finds were Teller, all Loomis and Brinks boxes were skunks.

I was averaging about twenty 40s per week for Tellers and CRW with an occasional 90.
All my finds in the last two weeks are an anomaly for Loomis boxes.

    Running totals
Teller finds since April to August 19: 390-' 65-70 kennedys, 127- '64 Kennedys
Loomis and Brinks finds April to August 19: 0/0
    August 21 To Sept 2
    Teller finds
    41- '65-69 5-'64 Kennedy 1-Franklin
    Loomis and Brinks finds
    105-40s and 43-90s

My take away from your efforts is to get a good "ground game" going. What I mean by that is going to banks and specifically asking for loose halves. If they have them then ask for CWR. I never did that until you started posting here. I started last Saturday. I haven't gotten a hole lot in one week but I did get four 40%ers. Which did take the sting out of all the skunk boxes I have been getting. All I get are Loomis boxes and they have been so dry it's not even funny. Been like this for months. At least with the tellers there seems to be a chance of getting something. I am not giving up on boxes. The way I have my banks set up is one week I get 2-3 and then the other week I get 5 boxes. That's the best I can do without driving to the point where it makes no economical sense. I am hoping that the boxes are cyclical. Bad pallettes come in, then a pallette with a "silver vein" comes in. That's what I am hoping for. I keep mentioning my trip to Texas. I will get a chance to search new grounds there. Probably different companies on the BWR and hopefully small banks that still have CWR.

Did tellers just hold them for you? Did they know they were silver? Either way those are amazing stats.

I've only ask a few tellers I've become friends with to call me if someone drops halves. Many of the tellers know I'm there for halves, and some know I'm looking for silver and some don't really ask. The good ones will tell you the ones they have have been searched through. The remaining bank visits are just pure persistence. It's alot like fishing, the one day you go fishing nothing is biting, the day you take off Fish and Wildlife just stocked the stream with a Rainbow Trout. Can't fish everyday, so you have to build a routine. It's a lot of work as I ve PM'd Bman. Some days I wonder why bother and it gets frustrating to collect a few hundred $ in CWR or Searcher wrapped rolls unmarked(this is the worst) with nothing.

I've already made my schedule for the week. Which banks I am getting boxes at, which banks to dump at. I will probably hit 12 banks today asking for loose halves. I believe in what Truble is saying about consistency. It's like the old silver and gold miners. They dig, dig, dig, and finally hit a vein.

First two boxes from Loomis today were skunks:yack:
Both were dated with June 3, so I'm still in the Loomis sort that produced the halves already reported.
I have four to pick up this afternoon. May have run the vein.

$20 MWR nickels: 1943-P (third war nickel this month, all 43-P), 2009-D (in the same roll). Also 1953-D, 1968-S, AU 1969-D

$5 MWR pennies: 1951, 1953-D, 1969-S, 1973-S, 2009 (x2), 1965 Canada. Lots more D coins than usual for an east coast search, including the first 2016-D's Ive seen.

    Boxes 3, 4 and 6 were skunks

Box five was decent, (3 Enders)

1-'64 Kennedy, 1- Franklin, 1- 1893 Worlds Colombian Exposision Half dollar (was and ender)
    19- 40% Kennedys
(I'll try to post pictures later)

So of the six boxes searched, 5 of 6 were skunks.

Won't get anymore boxes until next Monday, traveling rest of the week.
