Wow it didn't take him long to get it on an auction sight. You should have seen that clerks face when I told her it was a real penny she almost didn't take it, and I wouldn't have got my 40oz.

 

Me too,,, Glad there is no place for jokes around this Very Serious forum... I mean, all of non extreme serious collectors are just an after thought in life... Back to my hole...and my worthless life...

 

you knew it was a joke, right ? I was going to put up liveauctioneers here, but figure some of the serious collectors didnt want the competition.... So, figure it would be a little funny...
Of course, I got interupted by my old mailman who has cancer and his hot water heater blew a hole in it. So I ran to Home Depot, bought one for him and installed it... Thus, couldn't cover my "Joke" here before too many poster got oh so offended by a wannna be coin collectors joke...
The internet never fails to amaze in bringing out the best in people... And the bravery they would never show outside of a keyboard... That is not meant for anyone here or to offend, just see it on a lot of forums..
I would love to have that coin and never seen one until I started posting here... I love the site and still looking for a big break to get into the collecting... Not going to invest my life in it, just another hobby to go along with all the others, fishing, boating, motorcycle, yard, fantasy football, gambling, helping others, art, antiques, shooting pool, hunting, etc...

 

Any idea what that coin will go for ?

All you have to do is access the site, then search "coins" and just about every coin being auctioned off in the world over the next two weeks will pop up. So, if you are looking for a particular coin, add that to your search.. Good luck and god forbid anyone get upset about a joke...

 

Beware! There are some people who don't think this is the right place for jokes. However, since they don't pay me for them, they have no reason to complain.
