I don't want to be an irritant through repitition. But I've read all the threads on coin photography equipment, and am interested in a microscope camera. However, most of the models I've read up on extol the virtues of their product when using Windows. A lot of them basically say,.as far as Mac goes, "it'll work -- maybe." (limited functionality) What do you guys with Macs use? I have a Mac Air laptop. Thanks in advance!
Alan can answer all your concerns on scopes. He's great with support for scopes . I'm sure he will reply to Chris tagging him on the post above .
I couldn't say for sure concerning the current OS for Macs, but in earlier versions, a scope that would work for Linux , would normally work with Mac, but the operators familiarity with the Mac OS would be the main factor.
So I bought this and use a mac. I have to go in to the QuickTime player And use it that way. Works nice for the price. Only draw back is the cheap plastic scope holder broke from moving it around.
