My deepest condolences. I understand. I inherited my dad's coin collection after he also sustained a stroke. We are now the legacy keepers. I even purposely review the coins using my dad's old glasses so as to continually see them ''thru his eyes''.
I have them on now as I write to you. My dad and your grandpa are truly visionaries. Blessings to all.

What a wonderful tribute, Jason. You stand as proof of the quality of his work on Earth; it's plain that he built something lasting, and gave more than he got.

 

I'm very sorry to hear of your grandfather's passing. You must have a lot of fond memories that will be a comfort going forward. I think it's great that he kindled an interest in numismatics, and you have accomplished quite something in producing a really quality book on grading . I never had the chance to meet either of my grandfathers, both had passed away before I was born.

 

Jason, I was reading your book this morning before I saw your post. So appreciate how one single person can influence another, and that ripples out to yet others still. I am sorry for your loss but glad for the influence he had on you.

I was deeply engrossed in your story and then my heart exploded upon hearing that your grandfather passed. My father passed not too long ago. Although, we did not share the same interest of numismatics like you and your grandfather had, we shared other similar interests. My deepest condolences for you loss and pray for your strength during this time of crisis. May the man above heal your hearts from the crushing pain you are feeling right at this very moment.
