Here's another GTG thread. This time a 1942 Walking Liberty Half Dollar. The vertical lines in the field to the right of Liberty is a patch of die polish lines.

Na 63 I take the 58 back fine details. Some scratches but doesn't take away from it

I know what you're thinking. Did I grade it 66 or only 65? Well to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I've kinda lost track myself. But being this is Coin Talk, the most powerful coin forum in the world and would blow your numismatist head clean off; you've got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well do ya?

Fine details? Even Doug would call it a very fine at least ;-)

my grade: MS64+ or MS65 (max)
The strike is a bit weak and the luster is good, but not good enough for a higher grade.

I think you're the only person that took that serious.
Read the first 2 replies. Can't you pick up the slightest bit of a smart ass there. The 63 I was serious though was thinking 63/4.
