Happy birthday! I hope you live well for many more! I almost forgot to ask, did you do anything special for your 69th birthday? Or, is that a secret? Ha, ha!

Your coin has beautiful luster, but the head details look slightly weak. I think it still would be 64.

My thought as well. Too many tics in the trunk line. Could get net graded to 65 though due to above average luster

Let's play a GTG. I snagged the image below from Heritage, and sized it similarly to C-B-D's. Heritage images are not always faithful to actual luster, so don't worry about the apparent lack of luster in these, just the technical merit of the details. How does it compare to the OP coin?

For the record, from a technical standpoint I feel that both faces of the OP coin are as good as or better than the PCGS coin I posted.

I went out and bought myself some new clothes. I live in a senior's apartment building, and most of the residents are either on oxygen or pushing around a walker (none of which were made in 1947;);)). I'm one of the younger residents.

All of the senior men are single, and they'd rather go fishing.

Interestingly, this 50 unit condo complex I live in also has many elderly citizens who require a walker and/or oxygen. I am sorry to see them that way. It just reminds me how lucky I am to still have good health, however much longer it lasts.

I think your coin has slightly fewer nicks. I grade yours MS-66
