    That's not a parody, that's just a news report.

    Thanks for posting the link.
I did not make the lewd parody quarters (or any Arkansas quarters).
I did make the 14 parody quarters shown at the link above. Those were some of the earlier items that I produced (2005-2006).

There were also some serious state quarter concept designs that I minted and submitted to the various states: edited - forum rules

And also a few that I was hired to do (see the Washington DC and Puerto Rico section, 4th from the top): http://www.moonlightmint.com/other.htm

I still say your Maine design was far and above better than what was produced. Sad

That Maine was really nice, now if @dcarr would do a moose themed token that would be great.

I have heard of these being attributed to Ron Landis. I just E-mailed him and he said he did several marked "head quarters", "French quarters", and "Close quarters", so this should be his.

According to people selling them they came from someplace that called itself the Moinca Mint.

I googled Moinca Mint and it tried to autocorrect me to Monica Mint. Don't google Monica Mint unless you like voluptuous brunettes.

My spelling error it should be Monica Mint. If yu want to avoid voluptous brunettes (???!!) google Monica Mint quarters. But it still won't get you any real information on them. These things came out something like 12 years ago. So you aren't going to find much information.

These come with a different obverse as well. Instead of head quarters they say Close Quarters.

I submitted this design to Minnesota years ago, but it was never minted in any form:

He has been know to do reality tv show pieces. Maybe he can do one of the Alaskan life shows with a moose element. Dan, what's the story with the gold rush one. Did it have something to do with dave?
