It is a Talaris, very similar to the De La Rue machines

$250 of BWR. Nothing. Went to a few banks for tray halves and nothing there either. Won't get another box until Friday. Will have to be patient.

@Bman33 Halves are fickle little beasts, you just have to be persistent.

Indirect CRHing: yesterday I replied to a local add selling 4, 40% halves for $2 each. Met the seller, who told me he pulled them out of rolls several years ago. Of course, I bought them, and asked if he had any other coins he would like to sell. He tells me he was "the coin guy" at an estate auction house for awhile, and he pulls out several trays of graded coins...way out of my price range!

But, he did have 3 XF Liberty dimes from the 40's (s mints), which he sold me for $1 each.

    His trash was my treasure!

Was only enough time to get box five and six from loomis. Same inspection date:

    Box 5: 4-90%, 1-40%
    Box 6: 2-90%, 11-40%

We'll see what tomorrow brings. Two boxes from Loomis and two boxes from Brinks

    $20 nickels:
1943-P (a rare war nickel for me)
    1947-S (hole filler)
    other pre-60s - 1940, 1952
    Canada: 1989, 1996
1993 Panama Cinco Centisimos de Balboa

    $10 pennies:
1926 (last digit a little hard to make out - wish it were a 2)
    1940 (x2), 1946, 1950, 1950-S, 1951-D, 1956-D, 1957, 1957-D
    2009 (x4)
    1974-S

    Also found a VF+ 1937 in a "leave a penny, take a penny" tray

I decided to start looking at the enders in all my rolls and I was surprised to see this. Can you guys tell what year that is?

Ok, I am still on the WarPath for hunting. At lunch today I got $200 in halves from a random bank. Nothing. After work I went to 4 banks and got $12.00 worth of halves. Nothing. I have a box of cents that has been sitting around for a few months. I also want to check 6 coinstars. Wish me luck, I'm going to land something cool. I'm due.

I can't make out that 3rd digit, looks like an 89 or a 39, once you see the rev that'll narrow it down

Depending on the lighting/angle it looked to me like a 19, 39, 49, or 89. I'm just glad it was a 19, but i would be even happier if it was an 09

Ya that would have been epic, an 09 ender! I've yet to find an 09 in a roll

Before this, the oldest cent I had found was a 42S so this is quite a nice find for me.

Nice, I'm still missing 42s, oldest I've found in a roll was 1918, on 3 separate occasions
