I see LIBERTY. I see IN GOD WE TRUST. What I don’t see is E PLURIBUS UNUM. Is this on the edge of the coin? If so I missed it and it makes me wonder what are they trying to do. The obverse looks normal but the reverse is very plain. Lots of field space.
This came up in a thread a while ago, I think. All the other text appears as calligraphy on the reverse bust. Most of us were not fans.
At the very bottom of her bust (at the edge of the coin) is United States. Immediately above that is EPU. Am not a fan of this rendition & agree with @lardan. JMHO
This may be the ugliest coin the US has produced. It is a perfect example of why I quit getting new coins after 75 years.
There are those that will agree with you (me being one of them) and those that think they are beautiful. I did get one of Roosevelt, and that will be it. Surprised no Earhart, if there was I get one of those also
This is part of another set of: 5 Quarters per year 3 maybe 4 different mints Uncirculated Proof Reverse Proof Silver Proof And who knows what else. Twenty or more quarters just to collect a one year set. All at the US Mint premiums I got out.
It’s either the worse or second but that depends on your personal taste. Let us not forget Effigy Mounds Quarter.
I have to agree. This is the worst Coin I’ve ever seen. Chuck E. Cheese’s Coin looks better than this.
