I won't tell you my finds over the last four months, it will just depress you. Not going to give preside location but my searches range from GREENVILLE, SC to
Why are you keeping us in suspense? It like some kind of weird b-rated coin nerd suspense-thriller movie!!!!

Plus how are you not just ripping into it?

So you live in an Area That has a lot of silver. Lucky you...CRH Halves is based on location. Some have not been hunted as much as others. I couldn't find CWR's if my life depended on it either. And believe me I have tried. The only reason I posted my total findings is because NLL asked me because we live in the same area.

I stopped by the credit union that gave me a haul of buffalo nickels a few weeks ago in hopes of dropping off some doughnuts as I've done in the past after "big finds." The teller I usually deal with reluctantly told me that due to a recent policy change they can no longer accept any kind of "gifts," including food. I get why banks put those kind of rules in place, but it was nice to be able to occasionally do something kind for those who help me out with this absurd little hobby,

Yes it was. I pulled it out and it was a 40% silver. I used a magnifying glass to look at the mint mark. It was so close together it looks like a d.

Good point. I'm just afraid its going to be Canadian, which is why I have not looked at it.

My fifth box of halves this week. 1968D and a 1965D. I am so tempted to run to the bank and get a 6th box. I am so hungry for silver it's not even funny. My total for the week is 3 40%ers. Must do better.

You must be hungry for silver. I am too but I only own enough to get a box and a half a week. I want to find silver.

Here is the picture of the coin. I found two 40%s in the rest of the box. A 1968( which looks doubled on the mint mark) and a 1967.

Was running an errand and went into a random Credit Union. Asked for Halves and they said the vault was closed. The did hav $7.00 worth at front. I said I 'd take them and there were 3 40%ers! So I got over an ounce this week.

I just could not handle it any more so I ripped that sucker right out of the roll and my prediction was right! A walking liberty half! It is my first 90% circulation strike coin I have found! It is a 1944d and it is a beauty!!:)

Yes it is. I'm assuming you have found a few walking liberty halfs this year. Am I right?

I've only found one walker and that was in a teller tray. Have found a few franklins in both MWR and CWR, but mostly kennedys
