Tons of boxes of (4) sold for $350 on ebay already. Just talked to my dad and he missed out as well. Out of the 3 of us, I was the only one that got them......

 

Looking at the sold listings on flea bay. Around $400 for the HHL. I should have bought the West point as well And this is really tempting me to sell my Dad's... But I won't.

 

You are a champion. My offspring would sell it in a New York minute. LOL

 

I was able to get both W and S.

 

Not necessarily true as some folks who are experienced at these sell out events were unable to order. Not everybody shares the same connection speeds and fast systems.

This one will be whined about for weeks as the totals were UNREASONABLY LOW!
From what I understand, the HH Limits and Mintages weren't even published until last week!

I'm thinking that this was a HUGE Blunder on the Part of the US Mint Product Team.

I guess I boo-booed. I thought the limit was one each. Ordering was smooth as silk - I can't remember a release as easy and smooth as this one. Wish I'd ordered two each. Oh well...got mine...

 

Got my order of 2 each # 043688**

 

This was my first experience buying on the US Mint site. I was online right at the top of the hour. It took about a minute to refresh the page. I had my CC# saved, but it wouldn't let me use it, kept timing out. So I entered everything manually (Address, CC info). When I clicked order it didn't go through. Had to re-enter everything again, partially rendered the confirmation page, no box for confirm, but I clicked the general area, and it let me order. Order completion page at 4 minutes after the hour. Refreshed the product page at 5 minutes, not available! Just got the confirmation e-mail of order of 2 each.... phew!

 

I snagged two of each. wondering if I should list the pair I don't want to keep now or wait until I get them...

 

So there was a product limit of 12,500 but an unlimited mintage. What are the chances of the mint popping out another product to include more of these before the end of the year?

 

Now THAT'S an interesting question.

 

Got 38 from West Point and 42 from San Francisco.

 

How did you get so many in such a small order time? Aftermarket?

Hopefully they won't sneak these into anything else. I think they got the mintage right with these. If it was 75k-125k or whatever everyone would have been like meh ad they would sit on the site for months

 

Didn't like the design on the gold or on this piece but at 40 bucks took a shot on the west point. Figured I'd return it if there were no premiums. Should have bought more it seems...

 

Shoot. Totally missed the boat on these........I forgot they were going on sale today. I guess I'll have to do the aftermarket thing..........
