Looks like there were plenty of folks waiting for this AND keeping their mouths shut -- ordering was a lot hairier (lots of reset connections) than the last couple of high-demand items I've ordered. Order number 04373xxx...

...and now I see the other post. 12500 each, HH limit of 2 each, wonder how high they'll spike in the aftermarket? I hope not too high -- this is a design I really wanted to keep, rather than flipping. Of course, if they go high enough that I could exchange them for one of the high-relief gold issues...

 

No glitches on my order, nor for a friend who also ordered the HHL.

 

I'm confused about the HH Order Limit.

Do they mean only 2 of the American Liberty 2016 Silver Medal regardless of Mint mark

OR

2 of the S Mint and 2 of the West Point Mint for a total of 4 American Liberty 2016 Silver Medal Coins?

 

Really. It was THE easist time I've ever had ordering. Especially having to get 2 different products from 2 different pages

 

I would say 2 each since they are two different product codes

 

Household limit of 2 of each. I still don't know how many I walked away with, so many glitches on my end! These are already going for over $100 now.. I knew they would be hot!

 

Had they in my cart and boom sold out, time to buy SOMETHING ELSE.

 

Someone on -ccf said a big company was offering $100 on them so at least they expect $150-200+ on aftermarket

 

I dunno I think I got them, site isn't working for me anymore. Haven't gotten the email yet though

 

West point is going for around $250 on ebay

Wonder what the mintage limit will end up being? Any guesses?

 

I ordered 2 San Fran coins. One for me and the old man (Christmas shopping). Never bought anything from the mint before but I really liked this one. Ordered right at 10 (Mountain Time) and had no issues. Took me all of 30 seconds.

 

Wow this is crazy young collectors like me can't afford coins now days because people trying to make profit instead of enjoy the hobby I wished I could of got one each but looks like I won't be able to with the asking prices on feebay

 

Hold up. They were under $40 from the mint. If you had time to write this post to complain, you had time to get on the mint's site.

 

Thats capitalism and what the market bears at a given time. They may go down they may rise. Who knows... Love it!

 

Phew! That was a hoot....had 2 computers on, one for each address, but aired on the side of caution and only bought 1 design at a time....bye-bye postage money! :-( Here is the run-down on mine:

Not necessarily. Both my brother and i tried to place orders at 12:00 exactly. I got mine....he didn't.

 

I should wish the S&P 500 would do as well.

 

I assume that's a box of 2? If not I'll definitely be selling mine lol.
