Not necessarily so @GinoLR. There have been many small barrels/sacks of nails found in and around Roman building and military sites. Apparently, the military had a constant need for nails.
Nice collection. That top item with the loop, is that a clasp of some kind? Also what are those three odd shaped pieces in the bottom picture on top of those nails?
