A member here said once that unc rolls of 2009 nickels are worth much more than one would expect.

I've got a couple of rolls of each of the following:
    2009-D nickel
    2010-D nickel
    Blue Ridge Parkway-D quarter
    2010-D cent
    2010-D dime
    Abraham Lincoln-D dollar
    John Tyler-D dollar

All of these are in Loomis rolls.

Is there secretly a gold mine here? :joyful:

Maybe it's possible that the person was referring to Mint-wrapped rolls.

no, they were saying that rolls of 2009 Nickels sell at a premium because the mintage of them was small (comparatively) to most modern coins.

    THESE COINS ARE NOT RARE

but people have been known to pay large premiums for them.

I cannot directly speak for how things are today, but yes... OBW rolls of 09 nickels and dimes (at least) once carried fairly significant premiums. They were tough to get and in rather high demand at that time. The same does not apply to the 2010 rolls though.

Oh well. At least a roll of nickels is still worth $2 XD
