Well what do you make of this one? I assume it is a pastiche of an East India Company Half Anna - but does anyone know any more? Absolutely delightful imagery if nothing else.

This Michigan dated !974 Bicentennial Official medallion is weird that it came out in !974 but was a Bicentennial one. I guess they figured the would save some more or make some profit by selling it for 3 years.
I like that railroad token @dwhiz. Do you, or does anyone else here, know if tokens were at all common for railroads in the 1880s-1900s time frame in the USA? I am hoping, paticularly, to find something related to the Sioux City & Northern (SC&N).

Well they used them for keeping track of the cords of wood used at the stops were wood cutter had it stock piled they wer to confirm payment for the wood cutters. And if the water needed was a private source used for that to. Most of the scrip used was tear off tickets in a book say for the frequent travellers salesmen, circus advance men and anybody else that needed to travel it was to keep the person honest from padding the expenses. They had ones for the type of seat/roomette, and for food and baggage
