Can't claim to have seen that specific one but I've several others very similar to it in Montana. And if memory serves, I think I even saw one in a bar in Wyoming. But that particular memory is a little blurry
Yeah, same here. Don't specifically remeber it. But it screams VC. Could also be in another silver mining local though.
Huh? Half of all threads here have much less to do with numismatics. Don't know where that's coming from
Lesson number one: This is a picture of coins. Coins are a small part (sarcasm) of the numismatic world.
Many coin collectors like seeing (images of) coins. Including coins that can be seen at odd or unexpected places. It was fun, and I don't really think this is off-topic here. Now it would be somewhat OT if I wrote that a couple of years ago I went to South Dakota, saw Mount Rushmore (it was January and we had practically had the place to ourselves) and a few other places in SD including that drug store (plus many signs along the road pointing at it) yet unfortunately missed that bar but starting a new topic in General Discussion just for that one post would not make too much sense either, and by this time you would probably not care anyway where this sentence got posted if only it came to an end pretty soon. Yes, we were out there this past June. We hit the Black Hills, Badlands, Mount Rushmore, the Peter Norbeck Scenic Hwy loop, Custer State Park, One of the Minuteman Sites, Devils Tower, etc... Oh, and the center of the country......the real center of the country.
