Here's an 1800 LC I got last year for my Type set. I was browsing the lot boxes at Heritage's June Long Beach auction and saw the piece. It's in an OGH PCGS VF25BN holder. I'm a sucker for green copper and decided to bid on it. Low and behold I won it. The images are by Bob Campbell and I think he did an excellent job on it.

Really nice!!! You must have a great looking type set. I would love to see it! My type set does not go back that far because it would cost too much.

Just for your information, it is the S-212 with the die cracks on the bottom (not PMD) and the top of the lettering pushed up against the top.

Here is one from the Holmes collection with a planchet lamination as well.

The obverse scratches would have bothered me. That is probably why you won with your bid.

Still a very nice piece with considerably less damage than mine.

That is quite a nice example of the S-212. Congratulations.
S-212 is a R-3 die pairing, and the inner spike at C of 'Cent' is one of the key diagnostics, besides what Marshall mentioned.
A bit difficult to gauge the color from the picture, and I am sure the photo exaggerates even minute surface imperfections. This is my example of the exact same die variety.
