Just a small town girl Livin' in a lonely world She took the midnight train goin' anywhere Just a city boy Born and raised in south Detroit He took the midnight train goin' anywhere A singer in a smokey room A smell of wine and cheap perfume For a smile they can share the night It goes on and on, and on, and on [Chorus] Strangers waiting Up and down the boulevard Their shadows searching in the night Streetlight people Living just to find emotion Hiding somewhere in the night Working hard to get my fill Everybody wants a thrill Payin' anything to roll the dice Just one more time Some will win, some will lose Some were born to sing the blues Oh, the movie never ends It goes on and on, and on, and on [Chorus] Don't stop believin' Hold on to the feelin' Streetlights, people Don't stop believin' Hold on Streetlight people Don't stop believin' Hold on to the feelin' Streetlight people
Be careful, dear fellow.... I posted a video link to the Byrds doing Pete Seegar and, well, had it mod-deleted as being "personal crap" along with the threat of "infractions". Catch the irony? Go figure...
Ironious (dat's not a word is that? You get the meaning). Byrds, Pete Seeger and Dylan.......how does one catch 'infractions'?
It appears so, but being as mintmarks were hand punched into dies at that time, it is highly doubtful it is of any significance unfortunately.
Im not sure but I used to sit and stare in my loupe for an hr or more and after awhile I'd start to see cracks, extra ears on Lincoln, DD's etc, it really clouded my thinking. Now I check out my change or jars of coins. If ya let it its like a cat chasing it's tail. Dont feel your alone in your quest, I'm sure your not the first. I'm on a 1968D lincoln, I got jars and jars but I'm pretty sure I'll be right where I am right now/hope not. Good luck.
Just hang in there sassy I have been collecting for about 6 months have lots and lots of Lincoln Jeffersons and one night I got lucky and found 7 Indian Heads I didn't think I would ever see one of these in my own hands but I have not one not two but seven in one night so keep your head up your eyes open and do not be discouraged because you didn't find something valuable yesterday today or tomorrow read a lot and read a lot of these threads and questions and the answers and trust me you will learn a whole lot from these CT members as I did and still am collecting should be fun and enjoyable
