....... that last night the winners of the 2016 Numismatic Literary Guild awards were announced at the ANA show in Anaheim Calf. And that Gold Ducats Of The Netherlands, Volume One, written by Dariusz Jasek, known on this forum as goldducat - ( https://www.cointalk.com/members/goldducat.37873/ ) - and edited by myself, won the award for - Best Specialized Book of the Year On World Coins. Darek and I worked on this book continuously for over four years, and we are both quite proud of our efforts. But I am doubly proud for I myself am quite proud of Darek. The extensive and exhausting research he has done, and that is still ongoing for future volumes - well it may have been equaled, but I don't think it has ever been surpassed by a numismatic author. I have no higher praise for any individual.
What they all said. Congratulations to both of you! Here is a review by the way: https://www.cointalk.com/threads/book-review-jaseks-gold-ducats-of-the-netherlands.274522/
Thanks all of you, Guys! I received a message directly from Ed Reiter, the Executive Director of the NLG. But I also can't believe it's true

Very awesome! This forum has some heavy hitters on it, which is one of the reasons I keep coming back.
