Whats up with this Indian Head Cent

    Has anyone ever seen this on an Indian Head Cent date? The nine is disfigured Is it maybe a counterfeit?

    It looks OK. I think the wear just caused the end and the loop of the 9 to conjoin. But, I see why you would wonder.

    Yes, just a minor chip. Its not a rare place for one, considering how small the gap is between the bottom and loop of the 9.
