2006 N Dakota Quarter Error?

I ran across this 2006 N Dakota quarter with what appears to be a strike error with 3 rectangular punch marks on Washinton's face. Has anyone seen anything like this to explain how it would have happened? Would this be rare?

I can see what you mean but I need photos of the entire coin to see it better. I’m not as young as I used to be.

Thanks. There is also another spot just like it on his chin. There are a few spots of corrosion on the coin. It looks like a strike through but at the same time it looks man made.

 

This is man-made damage…PMD…imo…Spark

 

Seems too clean to be manmade. No other damage to coin and to displace that material, it would typically bulge up around punch area or warp the coin
