I was looking at IHC last week on fleabay and came across this little wonder. For a couple of dollars, I just had to buy it knowing it wasn’t real! A few fakes now and then improve a collection! Lol IMG_3570.jpeg

Not bad if the rim isn't banged up though. Anymore Pics? See the damage at 12-2 o'clock?

I have a picture of both sides but can upload one side only.
It should be here tomorrow and I’ll be able to show more. Damage! Yes I see the damage at rim. Really, if the seller sends me anything close to the coin shown, I’ll be shocked.

    Cleaned for sure.

    Small change, little fish!
A two hundred percent markup isn’t that bad! Lol

Bob, does this coin have a die crack on the reverse at 8:00? And again, thank you!

When you play in the mud, you’re gonna get dirty! The images above are images of the IHC I purchased last week! The images here are images of the coin this seller sent! Notice any difference between the coins? lol! This wasn’t an expensive coin and we’re talking a couple bucks here but it’s the fact that sellers are doing things like this and getting away with this crap. I’ve sent the seller a message letting him know there was a mistake! I’ll get, send it back if you’re not happy! Why play this game? My gripe is not that eBay has more crooks than honest sellers but that they do nothing to stop it. This seller comes from Grand Junction, Co. so if you run into him, tell him Dan say thanks! It’s not the amount, it’s the fact it’s being done daily. Maybe a running list of bad sellers would stop some of the crooks?

No! Both are round and worth a cent!

Wow! I nailed this one! The seller replied back when I questioned the coin switch. What a cesspool eBay has become!

    Hi,
I'm sorry you were not happy with the quality of your coin. We do our best to send out the best quality we have. If you are not happy with your coin, simply return it for a full refund, no questions asked. I will look for your coin in the mail and when it arrives, I will refund you for your purchase. If you'd rather keep the coin, I'd be willing to give you a 10% refund. Let me know which way you'd like to go.

We are a high volume Ebay seller, we sell over 200 coins per day. Taking pictures of actual coins has become physically impossible. Our ads used to say the coin in the pictures was one sold previously, but Ebay made us change it.

Have a great rest of your day!!

It appears sellers are allowed to offer and show any image they choose and sent anything they have kicking around and eBay is ok with this practice?

I recommend staying away from Ebay for coin purchases. Even small purchases as this. Buyer beware! I knew there was something fishy about this coin. So sorry it happened. Good thing it wasn't a big purchase item. wink.png
