I found this copper spot on the coin very interesting, so I bought it. It looks like the Indian has war paint and is ready to ride into battle!

I have a 2007 $ 50 Gold Buffalo PF-69 with a Blood orange Bullet Hole in the side of the Buffalo. (Copper composition bleed through).
Maybe Gen. George Armstrong Custer shot him.

Is the 2007 Buffalo a .9999 Fine 24k and not 90/10 (22 karat-ish) ?

 

My bad, I thought he was talking about my coin. Ya, the buffaloes are .9999. Kinda surprised to see any spots on those.
