You may have a bunch of little ones, but I've one really big one. And in the spirit of the Olympics, Insider deserves that bronze.... He's made great strides and quite the menace of himself in a short period of time, but not quite to our esteemed level... yet.
Why do I get the feeling that @Insider has mellowed a bit since @Big Money might be looking over his shoulder? Chris
...and she really does. When I got banned, she lost her privileges too because we use the same computer!
I may get slammed for this, but... Any man who can refer to his wife as big anything certainly has my respect... and deserves a medal for the accomplishment.
I made that mistake ONLY ONCE when I told an old girlfriend that she looked "Bigger than I remembered." She (BM) chose her "handle!" In hindsight, she wishes she had picked "Little" instead as she is thin.
@cpm9ball I often look in to see what he is writing. He has asked me to edit a post or two the last month or come in to read some of the posts that make him laugh. When he is on a rant, his fingers are flying (two fingers anyway) and he is laughing like a kid getting ready to pour water all over someone. Then I make him erase a few things. He needs to stick to numismatic topics on line. I'll take care of the rest! LOL. @Insider
Wait, he types all those rants with 2 fingers. Yikes. Someone's gonna need finger surgery soon! No wonder he expresses himself in emoji form Insider, here's some homework for you Type this over and over with your fingers, all fingers, in the correct QWERTY formation... Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country This sentence uses almost all letters and trains your fingers to use muscle memory to type correctly.
It's easier to hit "Copy", then "Paste", "Paste", "Paste", etc. etc. Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their countryNow is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their countryNow is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their countryNow is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their countryNow is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their countryNow is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their countryNow is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their countryNow is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their countryNow is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their countryNow is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their countryNow is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their countryNow is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their countryNow is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country
It's like I'm coming late to the party and all that's left is Hamm's, but I'll comment about the coin, anyway. The obverse rim near RT looks wide and flat, with a sharp transition to the field. That may be OK for proof braided hair half cents, but not Peace dollars. Also, regardless as to whether or not the dealers consulted caught the filed rim, I would avoid the one who said it had a shot at MS62 when looking for opinions about coins.
I would wonder if the bend that the grader spotted was a result of the heavy die pressures (High Relief) ??? Newbie to coin forums but a long time machinist/metal worker.
