Washington State Quarter cavity

    Hi everyone, I found a few of this coins on a usmint roll. I'm not really sure if what kind of error it is. I'll appreciate any comments & thoughts. image.jpeg

    Looks more like a planchet flaw to me

    Struck through grease, metal shavings, and grit. Show some of the other coins you have. There is probably some progression to the cavity.

    Alex, I've got one similar to yours. But mine has chips and cracks all over it! Unfortunately, if I have one it must be common.

    When you post pictures try and show the entire coin Obv and Rev. Something like this. What does the rev. of your coin look like? Your coin is considered a mint error but very minor. Collect-ability is subjective. Some people like them, some don't. BTW, welcome to CT.
