It has the D1 Reverse ( 17 Berries ) . I know it's on the " Hot 50 or Top 100 " list too .. Here's the link to ebay where I purchased this coin .. http://www.ebay.com/itm/282112995517?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
CSN the other night was selling 4, 5oz silver coins for a 1000.00 dollars too ... All America The Beautiful too ..
Does it have the polishing lines? They're not visible in your images, although under certain lighting that's understandable. 41A would be a whole lot more desirable outcome. Note, you can't trust PCGS/NGC on the 41A/B designation. They were originally VAM-1A, then 41A, then examples without the polishing lines were found and the "original" is now 41B. The fact that ANACS, so far, only has two 41A's and 293 41B's is relevant. I doubt they're that rare, likely a few in mis-attributed holders still, but they're not exactly common.
There is also a growing group of vammers that go after pitted dies. Especially pitted "list vams" John Roberts suggests pitted die list vams are a possible future breakout sub-niche and to grab them when you can.
Yes, please. Even 41B is interesting, about the most brutalized die you'll see on a Morgan Dollar, they're just pretty common.
I think it's 41A Dave, because of the polishing line skimming across the top of the " A " in Dollar and the " O " in One .
I just checked 41A and it has the single line skimming the top of the " A " in Dollar and the " O " in One too .
Ok everybody, the coin came today and here's some side by sides, with vam 41A . I also took side by sides, with vam 41B . I'll post then next post ..
