    Hello, everyone, and welcome to this generous giveaway from @BuffaloHunter!

    Here is what he said:

    "Here are the coins that I would like to see go to someone who may appreciate them more than I. My first wife was in to the errors and varieties. She passed away in 2011. I auctioned off most of the slabbed stuff that she had and kept just a few for myself to remember her by. These loose pieces have just been collecting dust in my coin cabinet and it’s time to send them on their way. 29 coins altogether and there’s some interesting stuff in the mix."

    As you can see below, there is indeed a very interesting assortment up for grabs here!

    To enter: merely say you want this lot, and say thanks to @BuffaloHunter. You may also post something else coin-related and/or interesting of your choice. Just one entry post per member, please. You may enter on someone else's behalf if you do not desire the prize lot for yourself. Merely state who you'd like the prize to go to if your entry wins the drawing.

    The drawing will be held via random number generator, sometime on or shortly after February 1st, 2024, depending on @lordmarcovan's schedule. You may consider the contest open for entries until such time as the drawing is announced.

    If you should win the prize, please post to this thread later, after you have received it, so we can keep track. Good luck, and hats off to @BuffaloHunter!

    I want in. What a lovely giveaway @BuffaloHunter . I am unlikely to find any US coinage with errors or varieties here in South Spain. It would be great to have some to look at in hand.
    I have one doubled die cent (1971) that I found in a bag of 300 Cents that was sold to me for 3 Euros by a neighbour when I inherited my Father in Laws collection.

    Your post was Post #2, so that will be your lucky number if the random number generator chooses it later. I use the post count numbers the forum assigns. (These are visible at the lower right of each post except if you’re on a mobile device.)

    What a fascinating and generous giveaway! Thank you @lordmarcovan and @BuffaloHunter... I am not throwing my hat in the ring because I wouldn't properly appreciate the coins, but I do want to offer my assistance with overseas shipping costs if the need should arise.

    Nice of y’all to offer, but that would violate CoinTalk rules. The winner of a contest is not to pay one red cent for anything (Doug’s words). Not for shipping, not for anything. Contests must be 100% free to the winners.

    I would be honored to carry the error coin torch for Mrs @BuffaloHunter. I only have a couple of errors, but that would be moot for any winner, because the quantity of errors in this generous giveaway constitutes a collection in and of itself.
