I just got an envelope from @Cheech9712.

Inside was a dollar bill. I was initially at a loss as to what was special about it, until I noticed the serial number: 18011801.

Neat! I looked it up on the fancy serial number checker.

    It’s a Repeater.
    Nice gesture for sure.

Thanks. Glad to know the term, as I do not collect paper money.

Even though I collect currency, and always check the serial numbers, I took several minutes and having to read the serial numbers a few times to realize it was a repeater. LOL
My eye sight is failing quickly.

    Good on you @Cheech9712!
I don't deal with a lot of cash, but here is an interesting one I found:

Personally speaking, I wouldn’t put too much weight behind that Coolness Index rating…just sayin’

Eh, none of this stuff is really my cuppa tea, anyway.

But you might say the price was right, this particular time. ;)

1801. The year @GDJMSP woke up drunk on January 1st after celebrating the start of the new century the night before. Later that day, having not yet sobered up, Doug tries to teach Napoleon how to fly fish in the Tiber River before dropping in on Pope Pius VII later that evening.

A good start to the year! It's a keeper!
