I'll start with saying Merry Christmas to all that celebrate. As some know I roll search and when I do I usually look for wheats and noticeable errors and the rest I put known dates with varieties such as the 72, 83,95, and wam years ect off to the side to go through at another time. Tonight I was going through that pile and came across this and I'm happy Santa brought me a Christmas eve present lol. I however am not great at determining what variety certain coins are but to me this looks like a 1972 FS-108 stage B and want to ask the community if they think so as well. Hope all is well with everyone. 1972fs1081.jpg 1972fs1082.jpg 1972fs1083.jpg 1972fs1084.jpg 1972fs1085.jpg

Merry Christmas Eric Have a great new year. That coin reminds me of a 72 DDO that I have. I will take a look in the morning.

Can't really tell if the die gouge is still there above the second T. If it isn't then you have a stage C.
    Awesome coin from a roll.

I’m not good at what you are asking but it sure appears to me to be one of the many doubled die varieties for 1972.
    Merry Christmas.

Appreciate it. I'll get it out and look to see if it has the gouge.
